References occur throughout the film to violence and hardship faced by Palestinians, including arrests, displacements and deaths from shootings and air strikes. Real war footage includes sight of explosions and ruined buildings, although there are no visible casualties. Phone footage of a funeral features brief sight of a real dead body without visible injuries.

Adults are occasionally seen smoking.
