Operation Mayfair

There are scenes of strong violence in which a man forces women onto their knees and whips their backs. In a few instances, the man proceeds to break his victim's necks after whipping them, and cuts off one of their fingers with a knife. A man is shot in the head, resulting in a large spurt of blood. In flashback scenes, a teenage boy is whipped violently by his step-mother.

There are intense and prolonged sequences in which female characters are threatened by a violent male.

There is use of mild bad language (‘piss’, ‘bloody’, ‘shit’, ‘ass’) and milder terms including ‘hell’ and ‘God’.

A man visits a sex worker, who proceeds to give him a lap dance.

A character demands a woman undress to her underwear and remove her bra before he proceeds to hurt her. A man is seen stalking women who he later attacks. A woman is accosted by two men who briefly sexually harass her before another character appears and puts a stop to such behaviour.

A man kills another and takes steps to make it look as though the victim took his own life, including composing a suicide note.

There are numerous scenes containing strong crime scene detail in which predominantly female murder victims are laid out on their front with bloody slashes across their exposed backs. There are also sequences containing photographs of more murder victims with various injuries, such as bloody cuts and missing digits.

There are references to a characters poor mental health as a result of trauma from his childhood.

Characters consume alcohol, including when they are seen doing shots in a pub.
