violence
There are comic scenes of moderate violence, including a brawl sequence. During an angry confrontation, a woman forces alcohol into a man's mouth, triggering his allergies and apparently leading to his death. The visual detail is not graphic, however.
threat and horror
Thieves hold knives to people’s throats during a short scene of moderate comic threat.
language
There is infrequent implied use of the moderate term ‘bitch’. Milder terms include ‘bloody’, ‘screwed’, ‘damn’, ‘hell’ and ‘God’.
sex
Moderate sex references include non-graphic references to pornography. A brief extract from what is implied to be a ‘sex tape’ shows a clothed couple rolling around on a bed together.
discrimination
There are brief condemnatory references to caste discrimination.
drugs
Characters are shown drinking alcohol that has apparently been distilled using marijuana.
injury detail
A body is discovered next to a small dark puddle of blood.
suicide and self-harm
A person is shown preparing to take their own life, but the act is interrupted. The film also contains frequent verbal references to attempted suicide and suicidal ideation, although the tone remains comic throughout.
sexual violence and sexual threat
It is revealed that a man has filmed himself having sex with his wife, despite her having clearly and repeatedly asked him not to do so. Later, the couple panic when the laptop on which the video is stored is confiscated by the authorities. Other scenes contain non-graphic verbal references to a man having digitally altered a photograph of a woman into a ‘dirty’ picture, which he then distributed. There is also a brief reference to a woman having falsely accused a man of ‘groping’.
flashing/flickering lights
This work contains flashing images which may affect viewers who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy.
