language
There is strong language ('f**k'), accompanied by other milder terms ('bitch', 'whore', 'wanker', 'bollocks', 'bastard', 'shit', 'bullshit', 'douche', 'balls', 'piss', 'fricking', 'asshole', 'arse', 'Jesus', 'Christ', 'hell', 'God' and 'damn').
suicide and self-harm
The film follows two characters who plan to take part in a scientific trial facilitating assisted death. There are discussions between the characters about their suicidal thoughts and attempts on their own lives, which are occasionally represented visually. In one scene, there is some bloody detail and a suicide note in the aftermath of a suicide. The film as a whole, however, does not encourage suicide and emphasises the importance of seeking help from others.
additional issues
There are moderate sex references and comic drug references. There are some scenes of supernatural threat in which characters see and communicate with ghostly figures. There are comic references to mall Santas being paedophiles. An war veteran shows signs of suffering from PTSD. There is rude humour.
