There is a scene of drugs misuse with clear sight of the substance and paraphernalia. In one scene a person deliberately hurts themselves and there are deep bloody cuts on the forehead, however this occurs within a surreal context. There are strong bloody images of animal butchery and slaughter including closeup shots of entrails and incisions with saws and blades. There are prolonged scenes of psychological threat with the soundtrack and visuals employed to create a sense of disorientation. There is infrequent strong language ('f**k').
