There is a scene of sexual violence in which a woman's dress is pulled over her head and a man is briefly seen thrusting on top of her. There is no nudity. There is also a theme of domestic abuse which includes a woman being punched in the face as well as further sight of injury.

There are moderate sex references, cigarette smoking and drinking. One of the actors has a tattoo on his arm which includes the word 'motherf**ker', which is occasionally legible.
