There are several scenes of violence. A man is decapitated and characters are beaten, strangled and suffocated, often in prolonged fashion. In one scene, a woman slams an axe into a man's crotch and blood flows from the wound. There is also a scene in which caustic soda is poured into a man's mouth, causing him to froth at the mouth. In another scene, a rope cuts deeply into a woman's heavily bloodied hands as she lowers another woman to the ground. There is also a scene of sexual violence in which a woman's breasts are briefly exposed before a man thrusts into her.
