A man kills another by repeatedly injecting him with what is implied to be insulin. A character is beaten, resulting in bruising to his face.

Trafficked people are rounded up outside a train station, have their passports taken from them and are bundled into cars to be forced into labour. References are made to exploited workers disappearing in mysterious circumstances.

Occasional strong language ('f**k') is accompanied by milder terms such as 'screw' and 'hell'.

There is a scene in which men watch a pornographic film; the film is off-screen and, while there are sounds of sexual activity from the film being watched, there is no strong visual detail.

A woman takes her own life; however, it is visually discreet.

There are scenes that visually reference illness. A carer gently cleans faeces from a disabled person's buttocks. A man masturbates another man who has severe additional needs, in a scene in which there is ambiguity around consent. Other moments include a man with additional needs distressingly begging his mother not to leave him in a care home.
