Very mild violence includes a cat slapping the face of a woman threatening her, and later being pinned to the ground as the woman brings a foot down on her.

Scenes of very mild threat occur throughout the film, as a cat and her allies try to escape from a villain and get back to their home. In one scene, knives are thrown at the cat, and in another, she is threatened with a gun. A character falls into the canal and is briefly stuck in some plastic, resulting in them nearly drowning and becoming very unwell in the aftermath. A dog is made to perform a tightrope trick and has sad memories of another dog perishing in the same act. Scenes of threat result in reassuring outcomes.

There is infrequent very mild bad language ('butt').

Very mild rude humour includes the implication of a dog peeing and talking about drinking water from the toilet, and there are also references to biting a postman's 'derrière'.
