A man is swallowed whole by a giant shark. There are scenes of threat as tensions escalate between the respective crews of two rival military ships. Military crews (and briefly civilians) come under attack from giant sharks. In one scene, a man paces ominously towards the command deck carrying a concealed knife, but does not use it.

There are occasional brief instances of blood clouding the water upon gunshot impacts with the monster. Another man sustains a minor cut to his head.
