violence
The intended victim of a vigilante attack strikes back at one of her assailants with a broken bottle, slashing the woman’s face and leaving it bloodied. People are kicked and punched, and suffer moderate injuries. A young woman wipes away her make-up to reveal heavy bruising around her eye which is implied to be the consequence of domestic abuse.
threat and horror
A group of female vigilantes chase and knock down a woman before berating her for being promiscuous, and proceed to kick her repeatedly on her body.
language
There is infrequent strong language (‘f**k’), as well as milder terms such as ‘whore’, ‘bitch’, ‘slut’, ‘pussy’, ‘dick’, ‘douchebag’, 'God' and 'damn'.
sex
There is brief sight of a man’s penis as he emerges from a shower before kissing and embracing a woman in a discreet establishment of sexual activity. In a later scene, there is implied oral sex between the couple. There are also moderate verbal references to pornography, oral sex and orgies.
discrimination
Violently and abusively intolerant attitudes towards women, homosexuals and sexual freedom are depicted in the film. There are verbal attacks on women who do not conform to religious norms of femininity and chastity, as well as physical assaults by female vigilantes on women who are regarded as having loose morals, or are victimised for being involved in same-sex relationships. A man is in a long-term coma as a result of a homophobic attack. Homophobic language includes use of terms such as 'dyke'. The film offers a clear condemnation of such discrimination.
drugs
There are passing references to drug misuse.
sexual violence and sexual threat
A woman expresses her anxiety about becoming a victim of sexual violence.
injury detail
A woman’s face is heavily bloodied after being slashed with broken glass, and she is left with an ugly scar. There is also sight of burn injuries on a woman’s face in the aftermath of her falling victim to an assault.
