Scenes of violence include stabbings, gunfire with blood spurts, and fights involving glass and improvised weapons. A woman brutally severs a man's fingers with a knife. Characters are shown being punched, kicked and having their heads slammed into objects. There are references to domestic abuse.

In one scene, a man whimpers in fear as he is seen chained up and gagged. Another scene depicts a hostage situation in a grocery store. Characters are threatened with guns, sometimes in sustained sequences.

There is use of strong language ('f**k'). Milder terms include 'bitch', 'prick', 'bloody', 'bastard', 'shit', 'piss', 'hell', 'screw over', 'freaking', and 'moron'.

Sex references include those to sex work, including scenes which take place inside a brothel. A video of a man dancing with two naked women is shown, although no clear nudity is shown on screen. References are made to adultery. There is use of the term 'horny'.

Brief, undetailed references are made to drugs and getting high.

There is a brief scene depicting rape, which occurs below frame and lacks strong detail. A woman threatens to traffick a man's young daughter if he refuses to work with her. A man extorts money from a woman by threatening to release sexual videos of her. References are made to sex trafficking and child sexual abuse.

There are bloody images in the aftermath of violence, including a close-up of a person's severed fingers, a corpse surrounded by a large pool of blood, and blood on surfaces and clothing following violent acts.

There are occasional scenes depicting bereavement.
