A graduate history student is unwittingly caught in the middle of an international conspiracy involving stolen diamonds, an exiled Nazi war criminal, and a rogue government agent.

violence
There is a bloody fight scene in a hotel room between the protagonist's brother and an assassin. As the assassin tries to garrotte his victim with a metal wire, a hand is raised to block it. There is some sight of the wire cutting into the hand and causing blood to spurt from it. Then the assassin gets into a fight with the man, who ends up killing him by breaking his back against his knee. The film contains two scenes of torture in which the main character finds himself strapped into a chair as an ex-Nazi tortures him with dental implements. The impact of the torture is shown through facial expressions of extreme pain and sounds of screaming by the main character.
language
The film contains some uses of strong language ('f***', 'motherf**ker'), as well as some milder bad language (e.g. 'bastard', 'ass', 'shit').
nudity
There is some sexualised nudity as the main character's female lover is shown with her bare breasts exposed.
