Machete Kills

The central character is frequently seen using a machete to decapitate and dismember people who attack him. In one scene a man is sliced down the length of his body. In another, a man has his entrails pulled out and tangled in the blades of a helicopter, causing the man to be pulled into the blades. In a later scene a man's head is set alight and he is subsequently seen with flesh burnt from his face. In all these scenes the violence is portrayed in a tongue-in-cheek manner, with the results of injuries shown with deliberately fake-looking effects for apparent comic intent.

There is frequent use of strong language, both 'f**k’ and 'motherf***er’.

There is a single sex scene, shot in a multi-coloured negative style which hides the detail, but which still provides a strong impression of sex taking place in a variety of positions. In addition there are some strong sex references, including graphic verbal instructions to prostitutes by the madam of the brothel, and a strong description by a woman of how she emasculated her abusive father with her teeth.
