LAND WITHOUT GOD is an Irish documentary about a family coming to terms with decades of institutional abuse, and the impact it still has on their lives.
There is strong language ('f**k'), as well as milder terms, such as 'bastard', 'Jesus', 'Christ', 'God' and 'damn'.
There are strong verbal references to institutional abuse of children in Ireland, including sexual abuse. A man recalls a time when, aged ten, he was beaten and sexually abused. There are further undetailed references to rape.
There are verbal references to drug and alcohol addiction, crime, as well as references to suicide.
