People are stabbed, slashed or impaled using sharp weapons. Sustained fight scenes feature heavy punches, kicks, and blows with improvised weapons such as bats, sticks and metal tools, often resulting in blood spurts. There are also scenes of attempted drowning.

Occasional scenes of moderate threat include a sustained sequence depicting a shark attack.

Bad language includes ‘son of a bitch’, ‘bugger’, ‘pissed’, ‘bloody’, ‘shit’, ‘screw’, ‘God’, ‘moron’, ‘damn’ and ‘hell’.

A person snorts a line of white powder. Other scenes contain visual and verbal references to drug misuse and smuggling.

A man deliberately blocks a woman’s path during a scene of sexual harassment, but his behaviour is immediately condemned, forcing him to apologise.

There is occasional sight of bloody injuries in the aftermath of violence and fishing accidents. A person’s finger is partially severed in gory fashion during a shark attack. Flashbacks show a dead body lying in a pool of blood.
