A sequence of footage of the Heysel Stadium disaster shows football fans behaving in a threatening and aggressive manner, with others being caught in the crush of the crowd as they try to get away. Brief footage of the 1981 Toxteth riots shows people throwing flaming projectiles at police, and vehicles ablaze. None of the footage contains sight of any injuries.

There is infrequent use of strong language (‘f**k’). Milder terms include ‘arse’, ‘bastard’ and ‘crap’.

There is a brief condemnatory reference to historical racism.

Real footage of events surrounding the Hillsborough disaster shows the distressed reactions of people in the stadium at the time of the disaster, as well as people grieving in the aftermath; however, the crush itself and the resulting injuries and deaths are not depicted on screen.
