As a husband bickers with his wife over money, he raises a hand and says he will beat her, but the threat of domestic abuse remains verbal only. Later, in an argument with another woman, he threatens to “take the anger I feel for my wife out on you", but she puts him in his place by saying she will “spank” him if he tries anything. The man subsequently apologises to his wife for his behaviour. There is also mild, undetailed comic violence as a man is beaten with sticks and two men are beaten up inside a house.

A man disguised as a woman poses as a prospective bride for another man who makes drunken advances on ‘her’, which the first man manages to evade in comic fashion. Eventually losing his patience, the second man draws a knife and declares that he will gain a reputation as a husband who "cut up" his wife on their wedding night. The knife is not eventually used.

There is very mild bad language (‘damn’, ‘God’). There are mild sex references, and infrequent very mild rude humour.
