Comic moderate references are made to erectile dysfunction tablets and intercourse. There is also a joke about ‘immaculate conception’ in which a stand-up comic imagines God finding it inappropriate to directly send a message to a teenager.

There is a brief and wholly undetailed reference to drug misuse. However, drug misuse is not endorsed by the work as a whole. There is a prolonged sequence about contemplating one’s own mortality. This includes darkly comic references to dying, death and funerals. Scenes of mild rude humour include an ongoing gag about diarrhoea. Mild bad language occurs ('ass', ‘crap’), as well as very mild bad language ('God', 'damn' and 'hell'). There is a brief verbal reference to homophobia, however, this is quickly and clearly challenged. A comic brief reference is made to ‘white trash’, however the term is criticised. Passing and infrequent references to suicide occur.
