A man verbally and physically assaults women, including his romantic partners, which includes throat grabbing and choking; one instance leads to a person being accidentally killed. People are slapped, kicked, punched, stabbed and slashed with knives during violent confrontations. A person is hit over the head with a blunt object.

There are verbal references to adultery. A newlywed couple openly discuss whether they have consummated their marriage yet.

There are passing references to religious discrimination. There is an undirected comment about someone being a 'dangerous mental patient' after being diagnosed with a mental health condition.

A character briefly coughs up blood following a vehicle crash. There is also blood in the aftermath of violence.

Upsetting scenes include those in which people grieve for lost loved ones.
