Scenes of violence are often accompanied by threat and include a fight featuring kicks, a brief punch and improvised weapons (snooker cues) are wielded. Young boys smash windows. Verbal references to violence, including strangulation and death, also feature.

There is infrequent use of very strong language ('c**t'), more frequent use of strong language ('f**k') and milder terms such as 'piss', 'crap', 'bollocks', 'shit', 'ass', 'tits', 'bloody', 'hell' and 'God'. There is use of the two finger gesture.

Song lyrics include moderate sex references relating to sexual activity. An outline wall drawing includes female breast nudity. There are also references to sexual behaviour.

Homophobic slurs ('faggot') are used repeatedly in one scene, reflecting real attitudes encountered by the band during a concert.

There are scenes of marijuana misuse and verbal references to cocaine and acid. Drug addiction is discussed, with misuse presented as harmful and disapproved of.

There is a reference to suicide within song lyrics.

There is brief sight of a graffiti drawing of a naked woman with large breasts, and obscured sight of a naked man.

References are made to illness, bullying and the fear of parental death.
