Insomnia

In an unsettling scene, a woman is manhandled, strangled and her head is slammed repeatedly against a door, resulting in bloody injury. Two men fight and one of them is left helpless on the ground, with the other man delivering a series of hard kicks to his body. There are verbal references to murder.

There is moderate gun threat, as well as scenes in which people are verbally intimidated. A man is struck by a car, but is not seriously hurt. A man is knocked unconscious and falls into water which sweeps him away.

Infrequent strong language ('f**k') features, as well as milder terms such as 'bullshit', 'crap', 'damn' and 'hell'.

Strong sex features nudity and thrusting. As they travel in a car, a man runs his hand up a younger woman's inner thigh towards her crotch, but then quickly removes it.

A man gropes a woman's breast without her consent.

There are strong bloody images in the aftermath of violence, including close up shots of a wound in an animal being opened up in order to extract the bullet that killed it. A dead body is seen in a morgue, with bruising and other injuries.

Sexualised nudity features shots of breasts and buttocks. There is also non-sexualised nudity when images of a corpse are briefly shown.

Disturbing and upsetting scenes are centred on a person's psychological unravelling, as well as bereavement.

Adults consume alcohol to occasional excess, and smoke.
