In the Hand of Dante

There are frequent bloody shootings and a scene in which a child is stabbed. In a scene of torture, a man has his fingernails pulled off and is electrocuted.

A young boy briefly threatens another with a large knife. There are scenes of sustained gun threat. A man is rendered unconscious, kidnapped and tortured.

Infrequent very strong language ('c**t') is used as well as strong language ('motherf**ker, 'c**ksucker', 'f**k') and milder terms including 'whore', 'shit', 'ass', 'hell' and 'God'.

There are verbal references to anal sex, fellatio, masturbation and necrophilia. Two clothed characters are briefly seen on top of each other in bed, discreetly implying sex.

A character makes homophobic remarks using the discriminatory terms 'faggot' and 'fruit'.

A person is forced to get on their knees at gunpoint and, it's implied, coerced into performing a sex act. No on-screen assault takes place. A character makes a sexually threatening remark about another person's child.

There is strong bloody detail throughout, including blood spurts, bullet wounds and sight of bloodied corpses. A real dead body is briefly seen in a crime scene photograph. A rat is briefly shown eating a person's infected leg.

Adults frequently smoke cigarettes and drink alcohol.
