language
There is mild and very mild bad language ('shit', 'screw', 'God').
discrimination
An elderly homeless man tells a joke at the expense of Irishmen; however, discrimination is not condoned by the work as a whole.
drugs
There are references to people injecting drugs to numb themselves. There are also references to drug users stealing to fund their habits. Drug misuse is not condoned by the work as a whole.
alcohol and smoking
People briefly smoke cigarettes.
theme
There are verbal references to childhood trauma and mental health, and some people break down and cry whilst relating their harsh lived experiences. In one scene, a man says he hasn't eaten for a week. There is brief sight of excrement on the pavement in a scene, and which illustrates the lack of available sanitary facilities for people living on the streets during the Covid pandemic. However, the emphasis throughout is on the compassion and assistance offered by volunteers, and the film also shows some positive results.
