Strong violence features shooting and stabbing resulting in blood spurts, heavy beatings with sticks and a prolonged strangling. A father hits his young son as a punishment and speaks aggressively to his wife when she tries to intervene; when the boy is older he slaps his father down and says it is payback for the older man's history of domestic abuse.
