Anthropomorphic characters are in danger of drowning, although they are saved before any harm is done. Scenes also include falls from height, a kidnapping, and sight of knives. Scenes are offset by comic moments and result in reassuring outcomes.

Bad language includes 'crapper', 'turd', 'butt' and 'hell'. There is also infrequent use of implied terms, such as 'son of a beachnut'.

There are occasional scenes of toilet humour and moments of innuendo, including farting, references to poo, and a comic scene involving characters’ breasts.

There is an emotionally upsetting scene in which a character fears for another’s life. There are also upsetting references to the mistreatment of circus animals, some of whom are shown locked in a cage.
