HELL BENT is a US silent Western comedy from 1918 in which a cowboy must save his girlfriend from captivity.

A crowd of men carry a woman from a stage in a dance hall and tries to grab at her until a man fends them off. When a man tries to forcefully kiss the woman, she slaps him.  A woman is kidnapped, but she comes to no harm. Cowboy bandits holding guns are shown intimidating town people and stealing, but there is no close up detail of violence.
