Frequent scenes of slapstick humour include people being hit in the head with rocks, crashing into walls and being pounded into the ground during comic fight scenes. There are also lighthearted battles between a man and what are clearly fake animals, such as bears, sharks, bats and squirrels.

People flee from obviously fake dinosaurs and bears in scenes of comic threat.

People pose in a mild, comically sexualised way to attract partners. People kiss and a man attempts to describe the process of having children to another using simplistic pictures that contain no sexual detail. There are scenes of implied sex and adulterous behaviour, all occurring in a comic context.

There is mild rude humour around farting and burping, and a recurring joke in which a caveman steps in animal poo. A man pokes a woman's clothed breast, causing it to honk.

A man is left with unrealistic wounds after a battle with an obviously fake bear.
