There is largely masked strong violence in which people are beaten with improvised weapons, pistol whipped, shot, punched and kicked. These scenes are partially represented by images of videogames violence with greater impact detail and some bloody imagery.

There is a scene of child sexual abuse in which an older male coerces a teenage boy in his care into performing oral sex on him. It is implied that the abuse has been long term and that the victim has suffered long term mental health issues as a result.
