Film

Frankenstein (synchronised)

Contains mild horror and violence

Violence
Mild violence occurs when the monster attacks other characters, usually by throttling them. During a fight between the scientist and his creation, the scientist is thrown to the ground and a small trickle of blood is seen by the side of his mouth. Otherwise, there is no sight of blood or injury detail in the film.
Threat and horror
The appearance of the monster creates a mild sense of horror, with scars visible on his body and metal bolts protruding from his neck. In one scene the scientist's assistant, having been killed by the monster, is momentarily seen hanging by his neck in the background. In another sequence the monster encounters a small girl and begins to play with her. The creature eventually picks her up and throws her into a lake. The girl drowns, although no detail is shown of this, but her death is accidental.
FRANKENSTEIN includes some scenes of smoking.
