Frankenstein

There are bloody shootings and stabbings. Fantastical scenes of violence include a character with supernatural strength hurling people and punching them, causing bones to break and leaving bodies contorted. Wolves rip the flesh from people and animals, and a person tears the skin from an attacking wolf's body. Men are executed by hanging, resulting in brief sight of twitching corpses.

Sequences of threat include a monstrous character stalking others in order to attack them. People are trapped in burning buildings and others are chased at gunpoint.

Bad language includes 'bastard' and 'God'.

A man confesses that he is dying from syphilis and graphically describes the trajectory of the disease.

Dismembered body parts are seen in pools of blood, and there is bloody injury detail in the aftermath of violence. A body is shown with its head concave and brain matter spilling out, and a man saws through the limbs of corpses. Fantastical sequences feature dead bodies cut open, their parts attached together and reanimated, resulting in sight of brain tissue and internal organs. Frozen corpses are found on a battlefield.

There is brief natural buttock and pubic hair nudity.

People grieve for lost loved ones and an isolated character is persecuted by others.
