violence

A young girl jumps on another, attacking her in a school setting. Fight scenes include punches and kicks, often in a slapstick context. In comic scenes a young girl tells stories about a creature violently killing people, but these lack graphic detail.

threat and horror

A demonic creature menaces characters in sustained sequences of tension. There are fast paced chase sequences and occasional jump scares. Characters are captured and threatened by others, but these situations have reassuring outcomes.

language

There is mild bad language ('piss', 'frig', 'fricking', 'crap') as well as milder terms such as 'screw', 'freaking', 'butt', 'hell' and 'God'.

sex

There are occasional brief references to sexual attraction, as well as comic reference to a fantastical male character's physique.

rude humour

A character briefly mentions his 'nards' and there is also some very mild toilet humour.

dangerous behaviour

Characters, including children, sometimes play with bladed weapons, and enact or reference other dangerous acts.

nudity

Comic scenes occasionally involve sight of buttock nudity.

injury detail

There are occasional stylised blood spurts. Sketch drawings depict a demonic figure with blood over it.

theme

Characters grieve for lost loved ones and there are scenes of children being bullied.
