There is frequent bloodletting during sword fights, including sight of arms being chopped off, and on several occasions devices are used to trap enemies' heads and then slice them off, with sight of decapitated heads and their bodies in the aftermath. There is a sequence in which a woman and child are killed without strong detail.

Sexualised nudity is seen on occasion, such as during a scene in which a naked woman lies on a bed with a man caressing her body.
In one scene a guard threatens to rip off a woman's dress unless she gives him information, although this threat is not realised. There are uses of bad language, such as 'bitch'. There is a sequence during which a knife is pressed to a live fish, and it subsequently flaps around on a plate.
