FEAR CITY is a US crime thriller in which a brutal killer targets dancers in New York City.

violence
A violent psychopath stalks, murders and sadistically maims women. In one scene, he slashes a woman's forehead with a knife and repeatedly stabs her. Another scene sees him attempt to cut a woman's fingers off with scissors. Two men are repeatedly shot with machine guns resulting in blood spurts. A man is seen violently hanged from his balcony. There are also sequences showing brutal and bloody street fights and boxing matches.
nudity
There are frequent and prolonged scenes set in strip clubs in which women dance bare-breasted or undress, revealing breast and buttock nudity. Women fondle their own breasts whilst dancing and men are seen shouting and leering whilst the women perform.
Scenes include strong threat from a serial killer. There is use of strong language ('f**k' and 'motherf**ker') as well as moderate, mild and very mild terms such as 'pussy', 'bitch', 'shit', 'ass', 'dick', 'tits' and 'hell'. Discriminatory and racist behaviour includes use of the terms 'goombah', 'dego', 'wop', 'guinea' and 'spik'. There are scenes of undetailed drug misuse and a brief moderate sex scene.
