EIGHT FOR SILVER is a horror film, set in the late nineteenth century, in which a pathologist investigates a series of vicious attacks in a remote village.

Moments of violence include a man's hands and feet being hacked off, several bloody shootings, and maulings by savage supernatural creatures. A man chooses to set himself on fire rather than be transformed into a monster. There are also scenes of less detailed violence, including the massacre of a Romani settlement.
