Eagles of the Republic

Scenes of strong violence include a shootout in a crowded area, resulting in visible blood spurts and the aftermath of multiple fatalities. An execution by firing squad is also depicted. Scenes implying domestic abuse include sight of bruises on a woman’s face, and the sound of a man aggressively shouting at a distressed and frightened woman.

There are scenes involving gun-related threats and suspense. Soldiers are thrown from a moving plane after being captured. Scenes depict people being held hostage, tied up and blindfolded before being verbally threatened. A character makes threats against a man's family, and a young man is abducted.

There is use of strong language ('f**k'), as well as milder terms including 'bitch', 'shit', 'bullshit', 'tits', 'ass', 'hell' and 'God'.

There is an under-the-covers masturbation sequence, and people are shown in post-coital settings. Kissing is also depicted. In another scene, a pharmacist lists alternative erectile dysfunction medications to a man wanting to buy Viagra. References are made to erections, oral sex, sex workers and adultery.

There are brief visual suicide references.

Characters deal with bereavement, and references are made to cancer and illness.

Adults are seen smoking and drinking alcohol on occasion.
