Dying

There are moments of mild violence and aggressive behaviour, as well as references to violent acts between family members.

There is infrequent strong language ('f**k') and milder terms including 'shit', 'bullshit', 'ass', 'asshole', 'crap', 'damn' and 'God'.

There are scenes of implied sex and masturbation, and occasional sex references.

The narrative deals with people dying of old age and illness; emotional callousness towards others; and the impact of abusive behaviour and addiction on individuals and their loved ones. There are references to abortion and mental health, as well as to suicide. These issues are often presented in a frank manner, resulting in some distressing scenes.
