Dust Bunny

Scenes of stylised moderate violence feature gunfire, blows with sticks and the throwing of bladed weapons. A fantastical monster attacks and swallows adult characters in undetailed fashion. Although the violence is bloodless, there is brief sight of small spots of dark blood dropping onto a floor in the aftermath of a fight scene. In a darkly comic moment, a wrapped body is seen hanging by the ankles above a bath as a prelude to it being chopped up, which takes place off-screen.

A young girl's imagination brings a fanged monster to life which haunts her in her bedroom in a series of scary scenes featuring jump moments; the monster subsequently menaces adult characters as it becomes increasingly ferocious. Although fantastical, the threat does not always carry immediately reassuring outcomes, and younger or more sensitive children may be disturbed by the film's darkly comic horror elements.

Infrequent strong language ('f**k') is accompanied by milder terms such as 'asshole', 'shit', 'God' and 'Jesus Christ'.

There are references to the deaths of parents.
