There are scenes of action violence, which are typical of Bond films. These include hand-to-hand fighting, including strangulation, as well as gun battles and explosions. There is also a scene in which Bond is tortured, with sight of live wires being held to him and his head being held under water.

There are scenes of threat, including people being sucked out of a plane, mid air.

There is some moderate bad language ('bitch') as well as use of milder terms, such as 'bloody'.

There is a single scene in which a couple have sex. This is mainly played off faces with no nudity or strong sexual detail. There are also some sex references and innuendo in dialogue, including jokes about going down and pulling out.

There is some sight of blood in the aftermath of violence, including on clothes where people have been shot.

There is implied nudity when a man and woman undress before getting into bed, although no actual nudity is shown.

Adult characters drink and smoke, including cigars.
