There are scenes of strong gory violence which contain eye-gouging, disembowelling, as well as a sequence in which a woman rips off a man's testicles, squishing them, before wiping the remains all over the man's face. Other violence includes bloody shootings, as well as scenes of torture (e.g. a Black man is bound while a lighter is positioned under his exposed crotch and is repeatedly whipped).
discrimination
The story follows three African Americans in 1970s Tennessee who must escape from a group of cannibalistic Ku Klux Klan members. There is strong racially motivated threat and violence throughout, including scenes containing imagery of burning crosses and rope nooses. There is also use of aggressive racist language ('n****r', 'negro', 'coon', 'baboon').
