There are scenes of drug misuse where teenagers share marijuana joints.
There are sustained moments of threat where a group of teenagers are terrorised, chased and hide from a masked killer.
There are scenes of strong bloody violence where people are struck in the head with a pick axe, stabbed in the head with a knife, set on fire, bludgeoned with blunt objects, have large rocks dropped on them and are hung by their necks and are shot.
There is use of discriminatory language when a white student calls a black student 'Blackoff' after newspapers refer to his father as the black Bernie Madoff. There is also passing use of the word 'retard' by a high school teacher used to describe failing students.
