threat and horror
There is strong threat when a sinister organisation abduct a man's wife, torture her and threaten to rape her. There are other scenes of sustained threat, including from a man being forced to climb around the facade of a skyscraper, and from a monster who attempts to suffocate a child.
There is moderate violence, including shootings, beatings, stabbings and torture by electrocution. This violence is infrequently accompanied by moderate bloody images, including blood spurts and the grisly remains of a small monster after it has been diced in a fan. There are several scenes involving threat to a cat, including one in which villains electrocute it, and another in which a monster stabs it, but there is no real animal cruelty. There is a reference to 'highly illegal' diet pills. There are mild sex references. A rude middle finger gesture is used, as well as mild bad language such as 'shit' and 'tit'.
