Broken

Scenes of violence include an angry father attacking a male teacher when the father mistakenly believes something which is untrue. The teacher is punched and kicked and has his head slammed against a table, leaving him bloodied. Another character is punched and kicked and repeatedly hit over the head with a plastic bucket, although some of these blows occur off screen. In another scene a girl is bullied, slapped and kicked by another girl. Brief bloody moments include a man having a plate smashed over his head, leaving his face bloodied, and a man being stabbed in the arm with a pair of scissors, leaving his shirt sleeve bloodstained. The film also contains a scene in which the corpse of a young man who has committed suicide is seen heavily bloodied. However, there is no detail of the suicide.

There is very strong language ('c**t'), strong language ('f**k') and milder terms such as use of the discriminatory term , 'retard'. Other language includes 'twat', 'bitch', 'piss', 'slut', 'arsehole', 'dick', 'shit', 'bullshit', 'bastard', 'bloody' and 'christ'.

In one scene, a boy and a girl discover the girl's teenage brother having sex with a teenage girl. The girl is on top and her breasts are exposed. The scene is brief and the nudity is limited.
