violence
In moments of personalised violence men are stabbed in the eye and throat in bloody fashion, whilst the use of bladed weapons in more generalised fight scenes result in bloody injury. There are also numerous scenes of highly stylised martial arts fighting with the use of fists and feet, in the course of which a man is hanged in undetailed fashion, a man is set on fire, with brief sight of burn injuries in the aftermath, and scorpions are used as weapons.
sexual violence and sexual threat
A man leers over a woman's naked breasts and buttocks while she's in a sexually threatening predicament; however, she is able to escape before the threat progresses further.
nudity
There is lingering focus on the naked breasts and buttocks of a woman in a vulnerable, sexually threatening predicament. A scene in which a female prisoner is punished by other women inmates also dwells on her bare buttocks as they are beaten with a cane.
additional issues
There is moderate threat. There is moderate bad language ('bitch', 'slut', 'whore'), as well as milder terms such as 'hussy', 'bastard', 'arse', 'hell' and 'damn'. Moderate sex references include remarks about brothels and prostitution. There is also a passing reference to abortion.
