A scene shows a man berating and repeatedly slapping his teenage daughter. Another man behaves in a threatening and aggressive manner towards his romantic partner, who is visibly afraid. One teenager repeatedly punches another, without strong visual detail. There is also brief use of war footage, including undetailed explosions.

A suspenseful and ominous tone runs throughout, in addition to scenes of aggressive behaviour and a sequence of off-screen gunfire and screaming.

There is use of strong language (‘f**k’). Milder terms include ‘twat’, ‘bitch’, ‘skank’, ‘thot’, 'arse' and ‘shit’.

There are scenes of racism and islamophobia, including one in which a white teenage boy publicly pulls off a Black Muslim teenage girl’s hijab and makes ape noises at her. There is also infrequent use of discriminatory language such as ‘paki’ and ‘darkie’.

Infrequent drug references include brief sight of a bag of white powder at a house party, and mentions of marijuana misuse.

There are scenes of sexual harassment directed towards teenage girls, including one in a classroom setting and another involving an adult in a position of trust.

There are images of war aftermath including hospital footage of a child in bloody clothing, another child with an amputated limb, and a doctor attempting to clear an infant’s airway.

This work contains flashing images which may affect viewers who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy.
