Bombay My Beloved

A man bludgeons the head of another with a baseball bat; we see only the first of these blows make contact. A man's foot and hand are smashed with a stick in close-up during a scene of torture. Characters slap and shove one another.

An apparently naked, frightened man is tied to a chair with a bag over his head by police, before being tortured for information. A character is captured by criminals and left in fear of his life. Characters are threatened with violence and torture.

There is strong language ('f**k', 'motherf**ker') along with milder terms which include 'bastard', 'asshole, 'ass', 'balls', 'son of a bitch' and 'hell'.

A man is seen snorting cocaine. There are undetailed references to drug addiction, overdoses and illegal drug dealing.

We see blood being washed from paving stones and there is sight of blood in the aftermath of beatings and bludgeonings.

A man repeatedly beats his son using a belt in a prolonged and intense scene of domestic abuse. There is also a scene in which a man's throat is slit, with resulting bloody detail.

A woman screams when she discovers a goat's severed head in a pool of blood has been left in her home.

A man is viciously sliced across the face resulting in bloodshed. There is another scene of strong, bloody violence in which people are stabbed in the throat and head as well being slashed across their bodies with knives. A man is repeatedly punched in the face until it is heavily bloodied and bruised.

A woman is repeatedly punched in the face and pushed to the ground by a violent intruder she is then subsequently raped and although we hear her cries, much of the visuals are off screen. Her husband is sadistically held down and forced to watch the attack. After the attack, she is heard being shot dead.

A hit man sits at the head of a table surrounded by dead bodies and shoots the last surviving victim in the head. There are verbal references to man being beaten by his father.

There is a scene of strong vigorous sex.

There are scenes of cocaine misuse.

Men visit a brothel and request a virgin, a brothel owner presents them with a terrified looking woman she implies has been trafficked.

Scenes of strong bloody violence include numerous characters being gunned down, resulting in blood spurts and splashes, as well as people coughing up blood. Characters are shot in the head in cold blood, including a woman who is murdered by her husband. Blood is washed from the body of a murdered man in preparation for his funeral.

There are scenes of gun threat as armed men stalk other characters and chase them through darkened buildings.
