There are occasional crunchy fist fights and brief beatings. A dog is upsettingly heard being repeatedly hit with its yelps of pain also audible. There are undetailed references to murder.

A man pours petrol on the safety cord of a bungee jumper leaving a naked flame next to it; although we do not the cord catch fire, the man's death is subsequently referenced. After an earthquake, a man becomes trapped in a room with venomous snakes. A gang on motorbikes threaten a character with violence, resulting in him picking up a wrench to defend himself. Dogs are chased, rounded up in nets and locked up in cages as a city tries to deal with the number of stray dogs on the streets.

Use of mild bad language ('asshole', 'shit') is accompanied by very mild terms such as 'damn'.
injury detail
An elderly man is briefly seen bloodied after being beaten. A man removes his underwear and trousers to examine some mild injuries on his buttocks and legs inflicted by a dog.

A terminally ill hospitalised man asks his adult son to turn off his life support machine. The son is later seen touching his father's oxygen tube and it is strongly implied that he is considering assisting his suicide.

A man urinates against a wall followed by a dog who comically does the same.
