A man aggressively throws a glass at his wife and infant daughter, narrowly missing injuring them. There are sequences of moderate violence, such as crunchy fights with slaps, kicks and repeated blows. A woman is implied to have been hit across the head with a baton by the police.

A man breaks into a hotel bedroom and puts his hand over a young woman's mouth in order to keep her quiet; he subsequently ties her up but does not harm her. A woman becomes very distressed after her baby is forcefully taken away from her by social services.

Use of mild bad language ('shit', 'bloody') is accompanied by very mild terms such as 'damn' and 'God'.

There is a scene of mild sex and occasional mild sex references.

An man mocks an Asian woman's tearful outburst by comparing her to the acting in a Bollywood film. Discrimination is not condoned by the work as a whole.

A brief reference is made to people getting involved in drugs after spending their lives in care.

In the aftermath of beatings, characters have mild bloody detail on them.

An unpleasant boss makes sexual advances towards his employee and after she rejects him, denies it and lies to other members of staff by saying she was physically aggressive towards him. References are later made to him attempting to molest her.

References are made to a woman suffering from depression after the birth of her child. There are upsetting scenes in which a baby is taken away from her mother.
