There are shootings, fistfights, and sight of a pen being thrown into a person's neck. In one sequence, a man is electrocuted and there is brief aftermath sight of his charred skeletal remains. A child watches his parents being killed.

The character of the Joker has an intimidating appearance and threatens various people. There are occasional horror moments, including a woman's face disfigured from acid and sight of dead bodies with disturbing grins after they have been gassed.

There is use of moderate bad language, including 'dick', 'bitch' and 'shit'.

There are some mild sex references and innuendo, such as a man telling a woman that if she films him nude, she will need a wide angle lens.

There is some bloody detail in the aftermath of violence.

There is sight of a painting feauting nudity.

It is implied that a woman has taken her own life at the Joker's suggestion, although no suicide is shown.
