Ballard Season 1 - Episode 3 (BYOB)

The 2006 death of Nick Thatcher was initially ruled an accident—a drunken fall from a balcony. When a video goes viral of Nick's sister accusing the fraternity of murder, Ballard and her team are forced to reopen the investigation. Ballard’s pursuit of truth is complicated by her own struggles: she’s still grappling with fallout from her accusations against a former superior, a situation that ostracized her from her peers. Meanwhile, her partner Parker hesitates to rejoin the force after witnessing the systemic rot that drove her out in the first place. Tensions rise as the team realizes the same institutional flaws that protected the fraternity are alive in their own precinct.
